Navigating spaces for artistic expression, creative diversity and self-discovery.
A dynamic exchange of ideas through contemporary, functional and urbane works while contributing to individual and community wellbeing.
Welcome to my web log. It’s Wani here, aka known as Ben-Hur Winter. I’m currently based between Adelaide South Australia and Manila Philippines and work in the multidisciplinary space as a freelance producer/creative, brand developer and community arts worker. I’m also a published art director and fashion stylist (USA, Philippines, Australia), dance researcher, choreographer and theatre maker.
Brand wise (2012-2019) I’ve collaborated with award-winning and accomplished photographers/image-makers to create editorial style fashion imagery/creative content for Australian clothing brands including J’udori, Cubic Cloth, Orbin, Miss Gladys Sym Choon, Jagger Sleepwear, Sabaii Bohemian Apparel, Onyx Vintage, Totem, MA Dainty, Corina Van Elsen, Zara, Nowa The Label and Lotus; jewellery/accessories from Antique Market, Zatini, Lesley Lee, Elk, Erstwilder, Zoda, Jackie Brazil and The Tangerine Fox.
Since relocating from the Philippines as a balikbayan I have been shaping a body of work through Anahata (heart centre), a practice-led, multi-disciplinary repertoire of didactic artistic collaborations engaged in dialogic cross-artform work, cultural exchange, creative activism and Community Cultural Development. I also love the beach, movies, travel and pasalubong (gifts) shopping.

The Logo | Like the Sanskrit mandala or circle, the curvilinear form of Anahata’s logo evokes the buoyant pink lotus flower revealing the breath like motif in white. The energy of anahata chakra (heart centre) through love instils a sense of place and an inter-connectivity emerging from the centre while innately encapsulating the boundless strength of community | Connect
